Normal Dismissal Times / Horas de Salida Normal

ECE students and 7th/8th grade students are dismissed at 3:30p every day.

K-5th grade students are dismissed at 3:45p every day.

Students will be dismissed at 4:30.

Eighth Grade Trip

Washington, D.C

This coming April, our 8th grade class plans to take a trip to Washington D.C. to experience government and connect with their roles as citizens and future leaders of the United States. When asked why they are going to D.C. students replied with:
“I want to go to D.C. because I believe it will be a great learning experience. Instead of reading from a textbook, we will be able to see our government first hand and at work.”
“One reason I want to go to D.C. is because I’ve never been out of Colorado and I think it would be a great experience.”
“I want to visit D.C. to see where Martin Luther King marched and gave his ‘I have a dream’ speech.”
“I want to go to Washington D.C. to see the very first copy of the amendments. I want to have the ability to see the great things they have in the museums like the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.”
